Easy Drop Biscuits

That's them looking delish in my bread basket over there

Seriously, these are so delicious and easy to make, your friends may have to stage an intervention. Since my version is made with whole wheat flour and no animal products, it's much higher in fiber and lower in fat that the original I adapted from Real Simple. Makes 6 large biscuits, or 12 small.

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) non-dairy margerine, like Earth Balance
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)

1. Heat oven to 400.
2. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients.
3. Add milk, stirring just until moistened.
4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet. Bake until golden, 15-20 minutes.

Yes, it's that easy. Enjoy!

  2. Hah! I would relish them. One of my non vegan friends had these and not only continues to rave about them, but even made them herself. I'm patting myself on the back for that one.
